December is on us so here comes winter and to celebrate the shortened days and the rain and or snow Heroin Skateboards have just released their winter catalog (navigation arrows are really subtle so mouse over to the right or left. they’ll pop up in pink).

Fellow pencil pusher Lori has dusted off 5 years of internet cobwebs and shined up her website, lori-d.com. It’s looking pretty spiffy so roll over and have a look at what Ms.Damiano has been up to.
A drawing show curated by Randy Laybourne opens in 10 days. The opening happens on November 19th at 6PM. The show is being hosted by Walrus Shop on Cambie St. (at 18th Ave.) in Vancouver. The show collects a talented group of Lower Main Land artists plus a few US guests. I’m looking forward to seeing what everybody has come up with. See you there.

Ryan Stutt (the man behind King Shit) dropped me an email earlier this week letting me know there is a preview available online for his new mag “King Snow”. I was asked to be the “Guest Art Director” for the inaugural issue.
There are a bunch of my illustrations scattered through out the issue. So keep your eyes peeled for issue one at your local snowboard shop.
I would first like to say I’m not that business minded and as some of you are well aware I excel in procrastination. It usually takes someone with a bit more business acumen then me to get stuff done. Well Bob K. is that type of go getter. He recently added an online store to his recently refreshed Crownfamer site. So you can now get my 2004 book “Things I Don’t Remember” online. Tell your friends and while you are there pick up a t-shirt or two. You’ll be glad you did.
